50 Cent

Animal Ambition just hit stores, but 50 Cent is already on to the next. The hip-hop mogul has announced a release date for his sixth solo album Street King Immortal.

During his visit to Hot 93.7’s “The Hot Morning Show” (via HHNM) on Monday, 50 revealed the September 16 date.

He will face off against his rival The Game, whose compilation Blood Money La Familia is also scheduled to drop that day.

Animal Ambition, 50’s first independently-released album since leaving Interscope, debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 with 47,000 copies.

Earlier this month, he also announced that a new G-Unit album would arrive by late November.

Over the weekend, he and his fellow G-Unit members, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, and Tony Yayo, performed at Citi Field following the Mets game.
