Pharrell Williams reunites with Daft Punk in the video for “Gust of Wind.” In the vibrant visuals, directed by filmmaker Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim Versus the World), “The Voice” coach strolls through a fall-covered forrest where he comes across two giant boulders in the shape of the Robots’ helmets. The Baes dance alongside Pharrell and the autumn leaves before the boulders light up and ascend into the sky.
“Gust of Wind” marks the fifth music video to be released from Pharrell’s second album G I R L following “Happy,” “Marilyn Monroe,” “Come Get It Bae,” and “It Girl.”
Pharrell is currently on his European tour and has been in the studio with fellow “Voice” coach Gwen Stefani for her upcoming solo album.
