Sam Smith is up against Beyoncé for Album of the Year at the Grammys, but if he wins, he plans to give the award to his hero.

“She deserves it way more than I do,” the British Crooner told Rolling Stone. “I’d be embarrassed if I got it over her. If I got it, I’d give it to her.”

Smith is a longtime member of the BeyHive and has been known to sing “Drunk in Love” in the shower and even knows the dance moves from the video.

The “Stay With Me” singer and Queen Bey both lead the pack with six nominations at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.

In the Album of the Year category, Smith’s debut In the Lonely Hour and Beyoncé’s self-titled album will face competition from Pharrell Williams’ G I R L, Ed Sheeran’s x, and Beck’s Morning Phase.
