Justin Bieber is headed back to the VMAs. The pop sensation will perform his brand new single “What Do You Mean” for the first time at Sunday’s show.

“It’s true. I’m performing on the #vmas,” he tweeted along with the hashtag #BieberIsBack.

The performance will mark Bieber’s first performance at the VMAs since his medley of “Baby,” “Somebody to Love,” and “U Smile” in 2010.

“What Do You Mean” will be released on Friday, while his new album is due Nov. 13.

He joins a star-studded lineup of performers including The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Demi Lovato, Tori Kelly, and Twenty One Pilots. Kanye West will receive the Video Vanguard Award.

The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards air live Sunday, Aug. 30, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
