Following her VMA hosting duties, Miley Cyrus released a surprise free album, Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz. It’s a left turn from 2013’s more overtly rap-centric Bangerz, with production from Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips and guest appearances from indie rockers Ariel Pink and Phantogram. One rapper does show up, though—Big Sean, who appears on the mellow cut “Tangerine.”

Over trippy, atmospheric samples and sleepy drums, Sean adopts a measured monotone and describes an early morning waking up after a crazy party: “On the floor from last night still laying, playlist on my phone still playing.”
