Ma$e may have a career stretching back to the early ’90s, but he isn’t going to let new music pass him by. The Harlem rapper has unleashed a freestyle over Kid Ink and DeJ Loaf’s hit “Be Real,” showing the kids how it’s done.
He’s proud of his experience (“Here’s my epiphany, 20 years of Lears, Cartiers, and Tiffany”) and touts his influence (“I told these ni**as, gave the format and the flow to these ni**as”). He sounds on point and relaxed over a beat that couldn’t sound more modern.
Over the weekend, Ma$e shared the stage with Puff Daddy and his Bad Boy family at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas.
