A new freestyle over Puff Daddy’s “Finna Get Loose” caps off a busy week for Wale, who recently teamed with Metro Boomin on “Voices in My Head,” which he recorded live with the Highbridge Voices choir.

While that song featured sing-song vocals and contemplative soul-searching, this one finds Wale in a party mood. He raps nimbly over Pharrell’s bouncy breakbeat and remembers earlier years coming up in D.C., back when he “used to hustle sneakers and hit the stage” and “use all my paper on Paper Denim.”
