In between dates on her European tour, Kehlani blesses our ears with a new song called “Tore Up.” Over a stripped-down instrumental, produced by Jahaan Sweet, she shares her breakup blues.

“I ain’t supposed to tell you I still love you / But I just gotta tell you I’ve been hurtin’ / And I can’t keep these problems to myself,” she emotes, while admitting that she eases the pain with alcohol and pills: “I still pop one to feel a little better about looking in the mirror.”

During her Paris show this week, Kehlani gave out “Peace Love Happiness” T-shirts in memory of the victims of the terrorist attacks. “The Paris show was perhaps the most beautiful show so far,” she said. “We gave special Paris tribute tee’s to the first 300 kids who came and the energy was amazing. Love you guys, stay strong.”
