Pray for Jay Rock. The Top Dawg rapper was involved in a serious motorcycle accident, according to TDE CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith.
“Pray 4 @jayrock,” Tiffith tweeted. “He had a bad accident on his motorcycle.. He’s hurt pretty bad… #TDE.”
At press time, it’s unclear when Rock’s accident took place or what his current condition is. However, Tiffith confirmed that he is “not in a coma or near death” but that he suffered “a lot of broken bones.”
The Black Hippy rapper, who emerged on the scene with 2011’s Take Me Home, released his album 90059 last year.
For years, Rock has been called a leader within the TDE camp by many of its members, including Kendrick Lamar who referred to him as his “older brother” on “The Heart Pt. 3.”
