Lil Wayne is dedicated. In addition to collaborating with artists like Ariana Grande, G-Eazy, and 2 Chainz, the Young Money rapper is working on the sixth installment in his Dedication mixtape series.

During an interview with DJ Drama on Shade 45, Wayne agreed that their next collaborative project is “coming.” “I’ve also been working on some crazy shit for a mixtape and we just didn’t have a good name for it yet,” he said. “But it might as well just be a Dedication.”

It’s been nearly three years since the last Dedication, but the series has been instrumental in Weezy’s career, even shifting the way he thought about releasing new material.

“It became a different approach to the music,” he explained. “Meaning I started no longer wanting Drama to put out only the songs I’m doing my own little remixes to. I started giving him original music. I started approaching mixtapes as they’re actually getting a little more recognition than the albums. So I start paying attention to what you’re doing and how you’re doing it on there, and still doing the same thing. That’s why when you ask me what’s my favorite Dedication, I’m always going to say the last one because I’m trying to get…You’re only better than your last shit.”

Wayne also celebrated others during the interview, including Drake and Nicki Minaj, when he was asked how he feels to see them catapult to superstardom.

“It’s humbling, plain and simple, to see the smiles on those names you just named,” he said. “To see what happens for them, that’s all it’s about, to see those people help their families, to see those people become something and believe in themselves…Of course it starts with me believing in them, and to see them see what my vision and see what I’ve been seeing from day one and to capitalize on it, that’s the only thing that matters. Everything else is nothing. That right there is the best feeling ever.”
