Jason Derulo is out for some workplace romance in the self-directed video for his dance-ready single “If It Ain’t Love.”
After performing the uptempo joint at the iHeartRadio Music Awards show he hosted last month, Derulo gets suited up for a desk job in the glossy visual. Bored by work, Jason seduces his co-worker with some dance moves. Then, the colleagues turn their office into an Inception-inspired club that Jamiroquai would be proud of.
“If it ain’t love, why does it feel so good?” Jason asks as the two dance on ceilings and walls. “If it ain’t love, what is it?”
Additionally, Derulo has been working on “CMT Crossroads,” a collaborative concert series, with Luke Bryan where the two will blend their musical styles. Together, they are set to perform a remix of “Want to Want Me” on May 21.
The singer, who is getting ready to return to “So You Think You Can Dance” for its 13th season, is also crafting a star-studded mixtape. “I don’t know which songs are actually going to make the [mixtape], but I worked with Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign, Wale, French Montana,” he told Rap-Up in March. “But I don’t want to put too many songs on there.”
The “If It Ain’t Love” visual, co-directed by Joe Labisi, can be seen below.
