Get ready to step inside Wayne’s world. Lil Wayne has teamed up with the home of “Love & Hip Hop” for his own reality series, according to Young Money songstress Stephanie Acevedo.
In a Facebook interview with famed plastic surgeon Dr. Miami, Acevedo said the new deal was recently inked. “We just got a contract with VH1,” she explained. “We’re going to be doing a reality show that we’re gonna be shooting in July in L.A.”
The series is set to focus on other Young Money acts as well, she added. “It’s just basically us coming together as artists,” she continued, “as a family, collaborating. Wayne’s gonna be our mentor.”
Acevedo signed with Young Money in January 2015. At the time, Wayne also shared her cover of Leona Lewis’ “Bleeding Love” through his YouTube channel.
Although legal issues have stopped Weezy from unleashing his long-awaited album Tha Carter V, the New Orleans rapper has recently appeared on Ariana Grande’s “Let Me Love You,” and Chance the Rapper’s 2 Chainz-assisted “No Problem.” Earlier this year, he also received the key to Lafayette, and appeared all over Tity Boi’s ColleGrove project.
