Drake was out here looking for revenge and allegedly had Detail beat up, according to the producer, who just filed a lawsuit against the 6 God.

The beatsmith, who worked on “Own It” and “305 to My City” off Drake’s 2013 album Nothing Was the Same, claims that problems started when he declined Drizzy’s offer to be an exclusive producer, according to TMZ.

Detail claims that Drake asked him to come to his home in Calabasas in June 2014 under the guise of working together. There, the lawsuit alleges, he was met by Drizzy’s often-referenced friend, associate, and bodyguard Chubbs, who beat him up, breaking his jaw in the process.

According to the producer, Chubbs also had this message for him during the beatdown: “I will beat all your asses, including your bitches. I don’t give a f**k. I will hit you again. Do you think Drake is soft? You think Drake’s a punk?”

On “Summer Sixteen,” Drake shouts out Chubbs, comparing him to Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green. “You know Chubbs like Draymond,” he raps. “You better off not saying nothing / Them boys, they a handful.”

He also references him a handful of other times on songs like “4PM in Calabasas,” “The Motto,” and “Club Paradise,” where he rhymes: “I be with my ni**a Chubbs, he in love with street shit.”

Detail is seeking money in the lawsuit, though the sum is not known.
