The Bad Boy Family reunion at ESSENCE Festival will be missing its Queen Bee.

Lil’ Kim has announced that she will not be performing with Puff Daddy & The Family at the fest this weekend “due to unfulfilled business obligations,” as per a statement from her rep. “She’s saddened by this news,” the statement reads. “But matters are not within her control.”

Kim went on to thank ESSENCE and her fans for their support, adding that she hopes to be part of the festival next year.

Things were all good just a month ago when Kim joined the fam for back-to-back shows at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.

However, you can still catch her in a city near you when the “Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour” kicks off Aug. 25 in Columbus. The mega tour is set to hit North American cities through Oct. 8 in Oakland.

This summer will also be big for Lil’ Kim individually as she will be honored by VH1 at “Hip Hop Honors: All Hail the Queens.”

Meanwhile, the show will go on at ESSENCE. Puff is expected to be joined by French Montana, Ma$e, and Faith Evans during Sunday’s performance in New Orleans.
