Bow Wow is stirring up more controversy with his tweets.
On a historic political week, Shad Moss explained why he isn’t involved in any political talks after he was asked who he would vote for in the upcoming presidential election.
“Im not really into politics like that,” he said. “Hell we survive bush what can be more tragic?” Later, he expanded on his thoughts. “I dont really care,” he added. “Because after i learned what i learned about politics i just stay away… Let down.”
So what exactly did Bow Wow learn about politics?
But the former “CSI: Cyber” star really came under fire when a fan told him that his ancestors died for his right to vote. “Man i only believe what the eyes see,” he said. “Im mixed. I dont know what my ancestors was doing. I only know what i see…i seen SELMA. Was i related to anyone no. Im saying my moss side of family is NOT BLACK. Heritage different.”
Later, he explained that his “ancestors were in tribes” and that the Moss side of his family is white and Native American. He posted a photo of his light-skinned father on Instagram to further his point. His mother’s side, he said, is “weird” and that he has never seen many of them. “I got 2 aunts and 1 cousin ive known my whole life,” he added. “CRAZY.”

Although he’s been criticized for claiming that the Moss side of his family is “not black,” some have claimed he said he was “not black.” Bow responded to that too.
