Harlem stand up. Jim Jones and A$AP Ferg ride around their city in the video for their hometown anthem.
Over thumping production, the Trap Lord brags about making love in adidas flip-flops while Dipset’s Capo does the same in Jordan slippers. Meanwhile, Jimmy describes the ins and outs of the drug game.
“Still do it for them ni**as that buy weight,” he rhymes. “Used to get bricks off my face / And it feels like yesterday / We was in grandma’s kitchen, cheffin’ yay.”
“Harlem” appears on The Kitchen, Jones’ latest mixtape, which features appearances by the likes of Bridget Kelly, Dave East, and Kevin Gates. Jim says this song in particular makes him happy because it shows the fire is still blazing in his hometown.
“Being from Harlem it feels good to see A$AP Ferg, carrying on tradition with his recent success,” he told HNHH. “So this was a testament to Harlem, old and new classic.”
