After scrapping his album MC4, French Montana delivers an ode to Max B and Chinx with his latest release, “Paid For.”
“Nothing worse than when you love something death can touch,” raps Montana. “Sometimes life hurts more than death, homie / Locked up Max, took Chinx, I’m the last one left.”
In the middle of the medley produced by Harry Fraud, The Alchemist, and Masar, Max B’s mother offers a prayer for her son and French.
“Keep them safe as I know that you do each and every day, Lord God,” she says. “We ask you to give them wisdom to use in a good way, Lord God, that will help them in their future.”
Max and Chinx also make an appearance on the second half of the track, which is a collaboration with French that was slated for Mac & Cheese 4.
Although MC4 has been shelved, French has another project due this month. He promises that it will be “some of the best music you’ve ever heard.”
