King Kendrick is closing out the AMAs.
The Compton rapper will join Maroon 5 to perform their collaboration “Don’t Wanna Know” for the first time together at this month’s American Music Awards.
“HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT,” tweeted Maroon 5. “We’re closing out the @AMAs, alongside @kendricklamar, with the @TMobile Finale, LIVE Nov. 20th on ABC!”
The AMAs, which will air live from Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Nov. 20, will also feature performances by Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, and John Legend.
Drake leads the 2016 AMAs with a record-setting 13 nominations, followed by Rihanna with seven noms.
Kendrick, who last performed at the AMAs in 2013, is also teaming up with Shaquille O’Neal in an ad for American Express, which finds the rap superstar and NBA legend trading barbs while checking out bars of soap.
