Obama out. President Barack Obama held his farewell party at the White House on Friday (Jan. 7) and it was the place to be for many stars, including Solange Knowles.

While her sister Beyoncé was seemingly absent, the Seat at the Table songstress had the honor of performing at the star-studded party. “The sound check of life,” she wrote. “Was truly the ultimate, ultimate honor. Can’t even put into words. Really. We will miss your excellence, your grace, and the phenomenal legacy you have let us all share.”

But Solange wasn’t the only star at the event. Musicians Usher, Chance the Rapper, John Legend, Wale, and Kelly Rowland were also on hand for the celebration. So were actors La La Anthony and Jay Pharoah, who helped bid farewell to Obama’s eight years in office.
