John Legend will return to the Grammy stage next month.
The “Love Me Now” crooner is among the first round of performers to be announced for the 59th annual ceremony. A 10-time Grammy winner, Legend took part in a musical tribute to MusiCares Person of the Year Lionel Richie last year.
In addition to Legend, Music’s Biggest Night will feature superstar performances from Metallica, Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban.
While Legend is not nominated this year, he released his most recent album Darkness and Light in December.
Beyoncé leads the Grammys with nine nominations including Album, Record, and Song of the Year, while Drake, Rihanna, and Kanye West follow with eight nominations apiece.
Hosted by James Corden, the 59th Annual Grammy Awards will air live from Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 12, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. Additional performers will be announced shortly.
