Meek Mill brought the stars to Philly during his concert at the Wells Fargo Arena on Friday (Feb. 10). Dubbed “Meek Mill and Friends,” the hometown show featured a slew of guests, including DMX, Rick Ross, T.I., Jadakiss, and Tory Lanez.
Among the surprises were YG, DJ Mustard, Nipsey Hussle, Yo Gotti, Shy Glizzy, PnB Rock, Don Q, and Blac Youngsta. Even NBA players got in on the action. According to Revolt, Philadelphia 76ers Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons popped up for the event.
Meek’s set list featured a variety of heaters, including the opener “House Party” and its follow-up “Monster.” He capped off the electrifying evening with his Dreams and Nightmares intro.
Many of the guests performed their Meek collaborations with the DC4 star. Tory Lanez got “Litty” with his frequent collaborator before performing his “Controlla” remix. Rozay joined Mill on “Ima Boss,” and Jadakiss linked up with Meek for “Heaven or Hell.”
But the guests also did some of their solo material. Highlights included Jadakiss’ “Knock Yourself Out” and “By Your Side;” Rick Ross’ “Pop That,” “BMF,” and “Hustlin;” and T.I.’s “Bring Em Out,” “Ain’t About the Money,” and “What You Know.” DMX also set the night off with back-to-back bangers, “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem” and “What These Bitches Want.”
The newly-single Meek is now prepping the release of DC4.5, the follow-up to last year’s DC4.
