Khalid rides through heartache in the music video for his latest single, “Shot Down.”

The nighttime clip finds the soulful singer on a bus while young skaters roll through Los Angeles. Riding around with weed, lit-up skateboards, and smiles, the group roams through the city with a carefree spirit.

Back on the bus, Khalid ruminates over a breakup. “I don’t hear from the friends I thought were mine too,” he sings. “But I’ll hold onto the poems I would write you.”

“Shot Down” is a single off Khalid’s upcoming debut album, American Teen, which also features “Location,” “Saved,” “Coaster,” “Let’s Go,” and “Hopeless.”
