Young M.A. claims the throne and welcomes fans to New York City in the video for her “Kween” freestyle.
In front of the Empire State’s bright lights, under the moonlight, the Brooklyn rapper smokes and flosses, while denouncing haters on her remix to Cam’ron’s Jay Z and Juelz Santana-assisted “Welcome to New York City.”
“They talk about me,” she raps. “Like me being gay is so fuckin’ important / We all sinnin’, ni**a, I don’t give a fuck what you call it / Only man that can judge me is the man above / Too much hate, y’all need to open up a can of love.”
Throughout the clip, the “Ooouuu” hitmaker shows off her platinum and gold Young M.A. Music chain. But that’s not all. She matches that with a grill, bracelets, earrings, pinky ring, and watch.
When the “Kween” video ends, M.A. previews another track, repping Redlyfe. “Pull up to the club with a bottle on me,” she raps. “I’m already sippin’ / Got five voicemails, I just love the bread, but my bitch, she already trippin’.”
“Kween” is a loose single that arrives before M.A. hits the road on 21 Savage’s “Issa Tour,” which begins March 31 in Houston.
