YG is sticking to his guns. The Compton MC reportedly broke a $60,000 contract by performing “F**k Donald Trump” at San Diego University on Friday (March 3).

Sharing videos and tweets from the concert at SDSU’s “Greenfest” event at Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theater, fans revealed that YG was asked by the university not to perform the anti-Trump anthem.

“YG really broke a 60k contract to play FDT,” tweeted a student (via Complex). “And he said If you a Donald Trump supporter well then… Fuck You. This man my idol.”

Another fan added: “Shout out to @YG for playing FDT even though it means he won’t get paid. Not just bc it’s a good song but it’s relevant and important.”

The university has not confirmed whether these fan tweets have any merit.

Nevertheless, YG is well known for his stance on President Trump. In March of last year, he released “FDT” featuring Nipsey Hussle, which reportedly prompted the secret service to keep tabs on him.

The anti-Trump train continued. In August, YG tapped G-Eazy and Macklemore for the official remix. Earlier this year, the Compton rapper also offered to perform “FDT” at Donald Trump’s inauguration for a hefty price tag of $4 million.
