2 Chainz may be getting ready to drop his latest album Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, but he’s also busy being a good son.
The Atlanta rapper recently purchased a new home for his mother. “So I bought my moms a new house today for no reason , well it is a reason , she my momma,” he wrote on Instagram. “I Bought her a house 2012 before I knew I was gone be one of the biggest artists out here …,,still!!! I love you mom you deserve it!”
The “Good Drank” rapper’s aunt recognized what a blessing this was and sent him a heartwarming text. “I am glad that u are blessed to take care of your mom,” she wrote. “Which she deserves. All the obstacles and I have been through, God. So fit for us both to be blessed. I am very proud of u. Many more blessing for u. Continue to stay humble and watch what God will do. Love u and be blessed. I love her house. Which she so deserve.”

This is similar to another recent text convo that a famous rapper shared. Over the weekend, Kendrick Lamar posted an exchange with his mother, in which she praised his new album. 2 Chainz saw that and reposted it on his page.
“This the best thing I ever saw,” he wrote. “my mom and i share a close knit relationship , we starved together , struggled together , hustled together , smiled together you get my point , this is such a blessing congrats @kendricklamar , your album fy AF.”
