After being roasted on social media, Bow Wow has responded.

On Monday (May 8), Shad Moss claimed he was boarding a private jet for a “Growing Up Hip-Hop: Atlanta” promo run. However, he was then spotted on a commercial flight and the picture he posted, turned out to be a promo shot from a private jet company website. The jokes soon followed.

But today (May 11), Bow Wow tried to explain himself on New York’s Hot 97 morning show, “Ebro in the Morning.” “I love it,” he said. “People don’t understand the scientific method to my madness. Number one, I’m about to have the biggest show on WE tv period…There’s a scientific method to my madness. You gotta just watch the show. Everything is for the show. You gotta just watch the show.”

This isn’t the first time Bow Wow’s been caught in a lie on Instagram. In the past, he also posted stacks of cash that were revealed to belong to another person. He addressed this on “Ebro in the Morning” too.

“I never said ‘this is my money’,” he explained. “I put a quote underneath that picture. A lot of times, what happens is people will see pictures like that and a think…I never said that was my paper. I took the picture but I put a nice quote underneath it. People run with it, ‘Oh, he’s trying to.’ I never said that was my bag of money…I’m never going to say something is mine if it ain’t mine, but with this tactic, you gotta watch the show, to see what’s going on.”

Bow went on to say that he doesn’t have a problem flying commercial. “If I’m going commercial, [it’s] first class always,” he said. Later, he added: “If I do fly commercial, there’s only three airlines that I do fly: [JetBlue, American Airlines, Delta]. Bang. And I’m flying commercial home today.”

“Growing Up Hip-Hop: Atlanta” is set to premiere May 25 on WE tv.
