OVOXO ting.
It was a homecoming for the Starboy and the 6 God on Friday (May 26), when Drake joined The Weeknd on his “Starboy: Legend of the Fall Tour” stop in Toronto.
After setting a new record at the Billboard Music Awards, the More Life MC surprised his native city with a short two-song medley, performing “Fake Love” and “Gyalchester” with longtime friend Baka beside him.

Abel and Aubrey embraced onstage, adding unity to their storied friendship, which dates back to Take Care sessions. Despite their ups and downs, the duo united for a pair of similar performances earlier this year.
In February, Drizzy brought the Starboy out in Germany during his “Boy Meets World Tour.” The following month, Abel returned the favor, bringing Drake out for the “Legend of the Fall Tour” in London.

The Weeknd explained their bond last year, saying that the OVOXO connection is real. “[Drake] came in as my big bro and showed the world what I could do,” he told Beats 1. “From then on, he’s always been supporting me and I’ve always been supporting him. Behind the scenes, we’re still very close but it’s cool that the world can see us doing our own thing. OVOXO will always be there.”
In related news, Drake recently took a trip out to Portland for a meeting with Nike CEO Mark Parker. There, he teased a possible collaboration with legendary designer Tinker Hatfield, who’s famous for his work with Michael Jordan.
