Still buzzing off the release of his debut album, Teenage Emotions, Lil Yachty unleashes “Oh Yeah,” a cut off the Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie soundtrack.

If “Oh Yeah” sounds familiar, that’s because it samples the 1985 Yello song of the same name, which became iconic in the ’80s, appearing in films like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

Lil Boat uses the track, which blends different genres, into a cool cat’s anthem. “I’m cool, super cool,” he raps. “Ladies see me, they drool / Yeah, I act a fool in school / And pass my tests because I’m cool / I’m too cool for you / I could’ve followed rules / But I didn’t ’cause I couldn’t, I was busy being cool.”

Out now, Captain Underpants is based on a successful series of books and stars Kevin Hart, Jordan Peele, Ed Helms, and Nick Kroll. Meanwhile, the movie’s soundtrack includes contributions from “Weird Al” Yankovic and Adam Lambert, among others.

Yachty’s Teenage Emotions is projected to sell more than 55,000 units in its first week.
