Frank Ocean Performs First Concert in 3 Years

Frank Ocean returns to the stage.

After canceling multiple festival dates, the R&B crooner delivered a 19-song set at Denmark’s NorthSide Festival on Friday (June 9), marking his first concert in more than three years, according to Rolling Stone.

For the first time, Ocean performed tracks from Endless like “Hublots,” “Commes Des Garcons,” “Wither,” and “Higgs.” He also thrilled fans with Blonde favorites like “Solo,” “Pink + White,” “Nights,” “Ivy,” and “Nikes,” which acted as the evening’s closer.

It was a major weekend for Ocean, who also performed at Manchester’s Parklife Festival on Saturday (June 10). The R&B superstar wore a Brad Pitt T-shirt during his set, a nod to the actor who recently raved about Ocean in GQ.

“I’ve been listening to a lot of Frank Ocean,” said Pitt. “I find this young man so special. Talk about getting to the raw truth. He’s painfully honest. He’s very, very special. I can’t find a bad one.”

Frank’s concert run continues. Up next, he’s set to perform at a series of festivals, including Lovebox, FYF, Panorama, WayHome, Way Out, and Flow.
