T.I.’s ambitions as a “Writer” are on display in the video for his Translee and B.o.B-assisted banger off Us or Else: Letter to the System.

Directed by Laureal Richardson, the TIDAL-exclusive clip finds the rhyming trio in an abandoned, graffiti-filled lot. Surrounded by the tire smoke of a speeding car, the guys show off their ambitions with action-packed bars.

Whether inside of a desolate warehouse or outside as the sun sets on the trio, Tip, Bobby Ray, and Lee go back and forth with their tribute to Tupac Shakur’s “Ambitionz Az a Ridah” and other hip-hop greats.

“When OutKast dropped ‘Elevators,’ I was a young dope boy delegator,” raps T.I. “I’ve learned it’s not what you do, I’m more concerned with your motivation / Eazy-E, ‘Pac, B.I.G., and Pimp C, I celebrate ’em.”

This isn’t the first time the King of the South has shown love for ‘Pac. In April, he also performed “Keep Ya Head Up” in honor of the late icon at Shakur’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

“Writer” can be found on Us or Else: Letter to the System, which arrived in December. Watch the visual for the track via TIDAL.
