Over BET Awards weekend, Safaree Samuels claimed that Meek Mill had him jumped. Now, the Philly rapper is opening up about the alleged attack.

In an interview with TMZ, Meek said that he doesn’t know how he was involved in the altercation talks. “I’m a don,” he said. “I don’t even fight. I don’t even know how they got us confused with that type stuff, man.”

According to a separate TMZ report, however, Meek warned Safaree to stay away from BET Awards weekend festivities. SB did not follow those instructions and the confrontation occurred.

Mill was seen exiting a vehicle moments before multiple men approached Safaree with a flurry of punches at DJ Khaled’s pre-BET Awards party at Penthouse in West Hollywood. SB escaped the melee and called Meek a “pussy” for having him jumped.

It’s unclear what exactly fueled the beef. However, Safaree previously told Rap-Up that Mill was heavily involved in his Nicki Minaj break-up. Meek dated Nicki shortly after, but sources say that their feud goes beyond Minaj.
