Let it bang! After kicking off “The DAMN. Tour” with Kendrick Lamar last night, Travis Scott unleashes the psychedelic video for “Butterfly Effect.”
The BRTHR-directed visual features a speed demon theme, with La Flame riding in a gold Lamborghini and a motorcycle zooming beside him. Whether popping out of the car’s windows or riding on top of the whip, Travis shows that he isn’t afraid of stunts.
While La Flame sings about Hidden Hills, the Houston rapper flexes his muscles. Meanwhile, scantily-clad women lounge around a pool, eating apples, swinging their hair around, and spitting out butterflies.
All of these scenes are mashed together with blasts of neon color and special effects, including distortions, blurs, and fog. Together, they make up a dreamlike visual for Scott’s latest banger on the Hot 100.
“Butterfly Effect” was originally released as part of a three-pack drop in May and it is unclear whether it will appear on Scott’s upcoming third album AstroWorld, which he calls his best work yet.
