Kanye West gives back.

This week, the G.O.O.D. Music boss sent a pair of his coveted Yeezy Boosts 350 sneakers to a fan named Tyler Wesley, who was paralyzed from the shoulders down following a car accident in 2012.

In what appears to be a handwritten note, Kanye explained why he sent those kicks. “You are an inspiration,” he wrote. “You show the world anything is possible. Thank you for sharing your journey.”

Wesley has been sharing his journey across social media with inspirational videos that have gone viral. In May, the young man showed his progress, taking a few steps. The video has more than 203,000 retweets and more than 713,000 favorites on Twitter alone.

Most recently, he shared a video of himself walking with assistance to “Butterfly Effect” by Travis Scott. The clip has been viewed more than 40,000 times.

Taking to Instagram, where he’s amassed more than 37,000 followers, the young influencer showed his gratitude to Yeezy. “Thank you #KanyeWest & @adidasoriginals for the Custom ‘Cream White’ Yeezy Boost 350 V2 🔥,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Kanye has reportedly been working on the follow-up to last year’s The Life of Pablo, possibly growing his family with the help of a surrogate, and dealing with legal battles surrounding TIDAL.

It’s been a month of giving. Just days before, Kendrick Lamar bought a modified van for one of his longtime fans, who is quadriplegic.
