Hot off A$AP Ferg’s star-studded “East Coast (Remix),” Busta Rhymes flies to Jamaica for his island-flavored new single “Girlfriend” featuring Tory Lanez and Vybz Kartel.

Bussa Bus, who comes from a Jamaican background, kicks off the Rockwilder-produced track with some harmonies. “Let it go, girlfriend,” he sings. “Bang it to the tune, girlfriend / Now, all my chicks’ll beware / Hands in the air / Show ’em and let ’em know, girlfriend.”

After Vybz references Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Beyoncé, and JAY-Z in his raunchy lyrics, Swavey comes through with the third verse. “She want a man who makes money,” he sings. “So a pussy boy can’t step to me / Money like it’s make believe.”

Busta is working on a new album, his first since 2012’s Year of the Dragon, for release on Epic Records. Next month, the Conglomerate leader is set to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his sophomore album, When Disaster Strikes…, a project that yielded hits like “Danger” and “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See.”
