Pusha T gets political.

The G.O.O.D. Music President teams up with Greek-Swedish DJ Steve Angello for his latest single, “Freedom,” which allows the Virginia rapper to speak his mind on current events.

Over hypnotic and electronic production, King Push offers social commentary with his trademark growl and intricate rhyme style. “Money is power,” he raps. “Look at the people in power / Funeral flowers, freedom devoured / This is not yours, this is ours / America’s ours.”

“Freedom” is a single off Angello’s Almost Human LP. It comes from Act II – Inferno, the second installment of the three-part project.

Pusha T has been collaborating with a slew of diverse artists this year, including Gorillaz, Linkin Park, Flume, Vic Mensa, and Belly. Additionally, he’s working on his third major label album King Push, the follow-up to 2015’s King Push — Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude.
