Beyoncé and Pharrell give back. The superstar duo recently donated items to raise money for The Lung Transplant Project.

Queen Bey’s iconic black “Formation Tour” hat earned $27,500, exceeding the original projected earnings of $1,000-2,000, according to TMZ.

Skateboard P donated two pairs of his adidas Originals, featuring his signature and hand-written messages. Expected to bring in about $1,000, they went for $11,375.

The Lung Transplant Project is on a mission to help those who are on a waiting list for lung transplants. “We dream of a day in the not-too-distant future when there is no lung transplant waiting list,” says the organization. “No threat of organ rejection. No infection. Right now, over 100 researchers are working tirelessly to make this happen.”

This adds to a charitable year for Queen Bey and Pharrell, who also took part in fundraising efforts for natural disaster relief.

P is currently prepping for the release of N.E.R.D’s No_One Ever Really Dies, while ‘Yoncé enjoys her recently-born twins Sir and Rumi. The singer could also be readying the follow-up to last year’s critically-lauded LEMONADE.
