New music from The Weeknd is coming.

The Toronto crooner was spotted shooting a video for his new single in the small town of Taft, Calif. last week.

Phone-filmed footage shows Abel Tesfaye walking around the city, standing under an umbrella, and surfing on a hoverboard. The clips, published by TMZ, also show him waving at adoring fans in the area.

The Weeknd isn’t the first star to film in Taft, which is roughly 120 miles northwest of Los Angeles. In fact, Thelma & Louise and For My Daughters Honor were shot there, according to Taft College. Meghan Trainor and The 1975 also shot videos there in the past.

The XO boss may debut new material when he headlines Coachella on April 13 and April 20. His new album, the follow-up to 2016’s Grammy-winning Starboy, could arrive around the same time.
