Zayn brings the smoke on his new single “Sour Diesel.”
After covering Beyoncé, Elvis, and Jhené Aiko, the British heartthrob returns with the ’80s-inspired jam, named after the cannabis strain, on which he sings about an intoxicating love.
“She got it and she know she got it / I’m takin’ off like a rocket / Spaceship so high I can’t stop it,” he sings over the Malay and Rob Cavallo production.
In the cinematic clip, which he conceived with director Sing J. Lee, Zayn takes on the role of a vigilante hero. Dressed in a Batman-inspired outfit, he kicks some major butt while facing opponents in the action-packed scenes.
“Sour Diesel” is set to appear on Zayn’s forthcoming sophomore album, which previously spawned the singles “Let Me” and “Entertainer.”
