The fourth suspect authorities were seeking in the murder of XXXTentacion was taken into custody after surrendering at his lawyer’s Fort Lauderdale office, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

Shortly before 5 p.m. on Tuesday (Aug. 7), Trayvon Newsome was booked in Broward’s Main Jail on charges of first-degree murder and robbery with a deadly weapon. During a court hearing, Broward Judge Kim Theresa Mollica ordered that Newsome remain in jail without bond.

XXXTentacion, born Jahseh Onfroy, was gunned down June 18 in an apparent robbery as he left a motorsports store in Deerfield Beach, Fla. Three other suspects were previously arrested, including Robert Allen, Dedrick Devonshay Williams, and Michael Boatwright.

Last month, a Broward County grand jury indicted the four men on charges of first-degree murder with a firearm and armed robbery with a firearm. According to the indictment, Boatwright and Newsome were the two armed suspects who confronted the 20-year-old rapper when he was shot and killed, while Boatwright discharged the weapon that killed Onfroy.

XXXTentacion was robbed of $50,000 when he was shot and killed, according to an affidavit. He had just withdrawn the money from the bank before going to the motorsports store. As he left, his BMW was blocked by an SUV. Two gunmen jumped out, robbed him, and shot him in broad daylight, where he died from multiple gunshots.
