Kylie Jenner doesn’t want the smoke with Nicki Minaj.

The beauty mogul was walking down the red carpet at Sunday’s VMAs at Radio City Music Hall, when Nicki made her entrance. Jenner seemingly decided to head in the other direction upon spotting the rapper just feet away from her. TMZ claims that she was trying to avoid confrontation, so she changed course.

It wouldn’t come as a surprise. Over the weekend, Nicki put Kylie and Travis Scott on blast for inflating Travis’ Astroworld album sales by promoting his tour bundles on Instagram, which helped secure him the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200. She later awarded “Ho Ni**a of the Week” to Scott on her Apple Music radio show.

“What we not gon’ do is have this Auto-Tune man comin’ up here selling fuckin’ sweaters and tellin’ ya’ll he sold half-a-million fucking albums ’cause he didn’t,” she said on Queen Radio.

It was also reported that Kylie and Travis moved their seats at the VMAs to avoid Nicki following her tweets. They were originally seated behind Minaj.
