Drake is remembering a young fan with a heartfelt tribute.

Earlier this week, the Scorpion rapper revealed that his friend Kay had died. Prior to his “Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour” stop in Vancouver, Drizzy honored her by having his white stage vest embroidered with the gold letter “K” in memory of Kay The Queen. “got you with me every night now @the.kaydiaries,” he wrote alongside yellow heart emojis.

The two became friends after meeting through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Drake mourned Kay’s death in a heartfelt Instagram post featuring a photo of him visiting her in the hospital while wiping away tears.

“Gonna miss you a whole lot,” he wrote. “We met through make a wish and we built a genuine bond you would text me and check on me while I was on tour and tell me positive things and share your dreams and goals.

“I am crying in this pic but it was tears of joy cause we just prayed for you with your father. I am sorry I missed your text on my birthday that’s eating my soul right now but you know how much I loved you and was looking forward to seeing you after tour. I don’t know why I am writing this on IG I just need to get it out cause it’s sitting heavy on my heart. Will remember you forever K!”

Drake has maintained a close bond with his fans. In August, he surprised 11-year-old heart transplant patient Sofia Sanchez at a Chicago hospital for her birthday. She later received a heart transplant. “My love so happy for you,” wrote Drake.
