Over 10 years after topping the charts with their multi-platinum hit “Let It Rock,” Kevin Rudolf and Lil Wayne are back with a new collaboration called “I Will Not Break.”

Produced and written by Rudolf, the rock-rap hybrid features empowering lyrics from Rudolf and a spitfire verse from Weezy. “I’ve been in this game for years / It made me an animal,” he raps. “There’s rules to this shit / Follow ’em, I laugh at ’em.”

Speaking to Billboard, Rudolf opened up about reuniting with his former YMCMB labelmate. “Whenever I do something with Wayne it just feels, like, destined,” he said. “There’s just a chemistry. I don’t see him that often, but there’s just something about the combination that always feels like it’s destined to be. I don’t know how to explain it.”

The accompanying video was directed by graphic artist Fenwik. “I wanted a video saying something about where I came from and what I had gone through and where I am now,” explained Rudolf. “It’s about having whatever experiences, whatever scars, whatever life experiences I had been through.”

Upon its release in 2008, “Let It Rock” sold over 5 million copies and peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. After releasing two albums on Cash Money, Rudolf moved to Nashville, where he co-wrote and played on Keith Urban’s “Little Bit of Everything.” He has since come back to Miami, where he is now working on a new album for release next year.
