Where’s the beef?
A$AP Rocky is putting an end to the long-running rumors of a feud with Travis Scott. Taking to Twitter on Tuesday night, Rocky said the “beef shit” between him and the “Highest in the Room” rapper is “so played out.”
“THAT ME N TRAVIS BEEF SHIT SO PLAYED OUT , LET IT GO,” he tweeted.
The tweet follows Rocky’s freestyle at Rolling Loud in New York over the weekend where he seemed to reference comparisons to the Astroworld MC.
“Another victory be flawless like the skin on me, damn / Please don’t compare him and me / You offendin’ me,” he rapped. “This ain’t a diss and we ain’t enemies / They concerned with making hits / I’m more concerned with breaking history / The loudest n***a in the room the weakest / I guess them quiet dudes need better speakers.”
Their rumored feud dates back years ago. Fans would often compare their music and they’ve even been mistaken for each other as seen in this TMZ video from 2015.
When a bystander mistook him for Rocky, Travis shot back: “Not motherfuckin’ A$AP, bitch.”
Rocky has downplayed the comparisons in the past, saying that Travis “makes cool music.” Travis also showed his support for Rocky after he was arrested and jailed in Sweden earlier this year.
