Faith Evans was arrested after she allegedly attacked her husband Stevie J.

Police were called to the 46-year-old singer and 48-year-old producer’s Los Angeles home around 1 a.m. this week after a heated argument that reportedly turned violent, according to TMZ.

When cops arrived, they noticed visible marks and scratches on Stevie’s face. Evans was arrested and booked for felony domestic violence. She was released on bond the same day.

It’s unclear what triggered the argument, but the arrest follows rumors that their marriage was in trouble. They unfollowed each other on social media last year and Stevie sent out a series of cryptic tweets. “Drunk people always speak their truth,” he wrote in one, adding, “Cherish what you love just know nothing will last forever.”

The couple, who’ve known each other since 1996, is set to celebrate their second wedding anniversary in July.

Neither Evans nor Stevie has addressed the arrest. The “Love Like This” singer was charged with cocaine and marijuana possession in 2004 and was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in 2010.
