2014 has been good to Jeremih. The R&B crooner scored a platinum hit with his DJ Mustard-produced single “Don’t Tell ‘Em,” which peaked at No. 6 on the Hot 100. Now he hopes to carry the momentum into the new year with the release of his third album Late Nights. After a few delays, the album is set to drop around Valentine’s Day.
Fresh off the stage at Cali Christmas, Jeremih explained the reason for the pushbacks. “I’ma blame it on me looking in the mirror,” he said.
He has collaborated with J. Cole on “Planes,” which he plans to drop in the next two to three weeks. He described the record as “eclectic, something you ain’t never heard before.”
Plus, look for him on “Want Some More” and “Favorite” off Nicki Minaj’s The Pinkprint, due December 15.
“She the baddest. I’m surprised in this whole wide world there’s nobody that can compete,” he said of the rap queen. “To work with a woman like her is definitely dope.”
