London export Tinie Tempah has taken the U.K. by storm and now he’s set his sights on the U.S. Rap-Up TV caught up with the much-buzzed-about rapper during his first trip to Los Angeles.
The 22-year-old, who just won two awards at the BRIT Awards 2011, filled us in on his U.S. debut Disc-Overy, collaborating with Kelly Rowland on the empowering anthem “Invincible,” his respect for Kanye West (He’s definitely transcended the stereotypes of rap”), approval of Nicki Minaj’s British accent, and partying with Rihanna on the road. “I know she likes to party, but she really remained civil and demure,” said Tinie of his tourmate.
