Tinie Tempah touched down in the U.S. for his first stateside show on Tuesday (Feb. 1). The 22-year-old rapper has already conquered the U.K., but he won over his toughest crowd yet at Cinespace in Hollywood. After taking a swig of Jack Daniel’s, the British MC performed “Written in the Stars,” the first single from his U.S. debut Disc-Overy (May 3), with Street Fighting Man’s Eric Turner.
In addition, the BRIT Awards nominee impressed his new American friends by rapping over familiar tunes including Wiz Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow” and Willow Smith’s “Whip My Hair,” for which he recorded an official remix. Check out the U.K. import live in the U.S.A.
