Rap-Up.com || New Music: Jordin Sparks

Jordin Sparks gears up for war on “Battlefield,” the first single from her sophomore album. The mid-tempo pop record was written and produced by OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder. The “American Idol” is also working with Jesse McCartney on the effort, which she describes as “Beyoncé meets Rihanna.”

its a nice song..i like it. It sounds like somethin from the late 1980-early 1990ish…..which is good. She better come with it in her video..or else its not gonna get play.Good look.

When is the last time we had a power ballad!? It does remind of Us Against the World (which I like better, but still)

Jordin is lettin’ it OUT vocally, different from the first album where she was trying to be cute, sans “No Air”. This will (better) be a hit, too many uptempos on the radio nowadays.
