New Music: Nelly – ‘Just a Dream’

Nelly

After debuting his club banger “Tippin’ in the Club,” Nelly comes with the pop single from his upcoming album Nelly 5.0. The Jim Jonsin and Rico Love production harkens back to his Sweatsuit days with a more melodic sound.

For those who keep asking if Janet Jackson will appear on the album, Nelly told us no, but he did get T.I., Diddy, Kelly Rowland, and Akon.

    The key notes to this music is similar to “Broken Hearted Girl” by Beyonce. Nothing is original here. Nelly got a lot of work ahead of him if he wants to stay relevant to the music industry.

    People should just be happy he’s making music that actually stands out from commercial singles out these days.If this song is overplayed on the radios,then it will be fine,because the songs I hear out today sound horrible lol like Ke$ha she is not even that great of a singer,and there are others who just annoy me as well.Don’t get me wrong there are some FIRE!! songs on the radio.
    Well Nelly does have a classic in this song,and he needs to use his mind,and think smart,because he’s one of the smartest rappers in music today,and when he uses his mind he makes nothing but great music.
    Brass Knuckles wasn’t promoted well,but this album will be,definitely..
    10 out of 10 for this track,and tippin in the club as well =D Ha!!
