Lil Mama may be planning a move to Paris, but for now she’s sticking to “NY NY LA LA.” The spunky New Yorker mixes East Coast bang with West Coast slang on her brand new single, a funky old school jam featuring a verse from Cali kingpin Snoop Dogg, who raps, “In the past I had a little drama, but now I’m back with Lil Mama.”

“Snoop is like family. He really embraced me. That’s my guy right there,” the 21-year-old femcee told Rap-Up.com. “It’s always a pleasure and he’s really busy, as far as music is concerned, so for him to take the time out to work with me on my record was an absolute pleasure.”

I’m feelin this joint. When she 1st came out I thought she had potential to be one of the dopest femcees to grace the scene in a while. She’s still lyrically capable of emerging as one of the top femcees in the game. There has been artist in recent years (No Names) who’s gotten away w/ kissin other men *cringes*, being a well known police officer and various other noteworthy titles yet they’re still be celebrated and championed so I strongly believe that Lil Mama has a chance to overcome whatever it is people want to hold against her FOR SURE. She just has to KEEP GOIN IN! For the record Nicki is DOPE as well. Keep doin you tho VYP… NY is ridin w/ U!
